Anita Schambach

Being raised one of 12 children, Anita likes to say that natural healing was always honored first in their household because going to the doctor for every snakebite or fever wasn’t a financial option. As a result, Anita has the attitude that yoga, massage, meditation, caring conversation and a healthy “wait and see” attitude heals many day to day health challenges. She believes strongly in the integrative approach to health care. Anita took Genevieve and her brother Adam to their first yoga classes as kids and they eventually worked at Mercy wellness centers in Cincinnati alongside their parents while in school. The shared dream of creating a yoga cooperative and wellness space continues to blossom in the Lake Norman community between daughter and mother. Anita has been in healthcare management for many years and worked to incorporate healing and wellness into every role. She has taught health science at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. She is certified in biofeedback, is a HeartMath® Trainer and has participated and presented in numerous workshops including health coaching, meditation, stress management, holistic health, motivational interviewing and yoga. Anita's passion is facilitating meditation classes and having loving, face-to-face conversations that help individuals move forward on an empowered, self-managed and joyful life path.
