How to Setup ACH - Direct Payment
As of April 22, 2025 - credit card processing fees will be shared equally with our customers. Meaning, fees will be shared to all purchases made with us via credit card. The option to opt out of these fees is with ACH (Automated Clearing House) - a direct debit payment method merchants use to withdraw the cost of goods/services from the customer’s bank directly, while still utilizing the same security measures to protect your personal information. The credit card processing fees with Stripe are considerably higher, however, and we will split that fee with our customers (for the customer this will come out to approximately 2% on each credit card transaction). Your information will remain as secure as before – Stripe uses the same security measures for both ACH and credit card storage.
You may choose to keep your credit card on file in addition to ACH - Momence will prioritize ACH as your payment option on monthly membership payments, and will only rely on the credit card as a backup in case the ACH payment fails.
The transition to ACH is a quick one, but unfortunately we can’t do it for you. So, here’s what you do, in these easy steps:
How to Add ACH to Your Momence Profile
Log into your account on the Momence platform.
Click your name in the top right corner.
Select My Account from the dropdown menu.
Click on Save ACH Direct Debit.
Click Agree on the Stripe secure processing pop-up window.
Select your bank or use the search bar to find it.
Enter your online banking credentials.
Answer any security questions required by your bank.
Click Link to finish connecting your account.
That’s it! All done.
If using a credit card is still your preferred method of payment, you may continue to use it. Do be aware that as of April 22, 2025, however, you will be subject to a processing fee on any credit card transaction.
