A high energy, fitness-based approach to Vinyasa style flow.

This class focuses on linking conscious breath with vigorous, mindful flow. In a power yoga class, students build strength, flexibility and concentration while cleansing the body and calming the mind. Expect a great cardiovascular workout combined with breathwork promoting clarity and well-being through challenging postures at an increased pace.

A traditional, flow-based class linking intention, breath & movement set to music dating back to the 1930s.Like all Vinyasa classes, each movement is synchronized with breath.

Expect this class to include traditional asanas (poses) and sequences: sun salutations, standing poses, seated poses, backbends and an opportunity to learn/practice inversions. Open to all experience levels (even beginners!) and individual modifications are available.

A class for parents/caregivers & little ones! Half of the class is for caregivers while kids play, & the other half is for the kids to learn about yoga in a fun & playful way. Recommended for crawling to age 3.

Toddler Yoga is the opportunity to introduce a healthy and fun activity that you can start together and can last a lifetime. Our children's classes are always age appropriate for growing bodies, blossoming minds and gentle hearts. For children ages 2 and 3, it can be a wonderful bonding experience to try yoga with you, the parents. The focus of these sessions will be much more on the child, and your participation to encourage them to learn and grow, as opposed to some Mommy and me classes which focus more on the workout and the optional participation of the child. Imaginative story-telling, song and games will be used to encourage children to learn in a fun environment.

This series provides a guided practice emphasizing movement, mindfulness and breath.  The focus is on poses that enhance relaxation, stamina and stretching while opening the body in preparation for the miracle of birth. We cultivate breathing techniques with movement modifications based on your trimester. Genevieve’s prenatal classes honor this special time of life by providing a safe, peaceful and supportive environment for expectant mothers and are a wonderful way to connect with other mothers-to-be.

A slow-paced class with longer holds.

Deep Stretch is a gentle, slow-flow class consisting of floor postures that help improve flexibility and uses longer holds and flow to get beyond muscle tissue into the connective tissue and fascia.  It is a good class for anyone seeking to gently enhance flexibility, but especially for men and athletes.  Expect regular participation in this class to literally open the body and mind, peeling away layers of stress, injury, and tension.

This class helps new mothers and babies stay centered, strong and aware during their first months together. Yoga and Pilates are blended together to create an atmosphere that is complete for all fitness levels- from beginner to fitness enthusiast.  The Yogalates blend takes the best from Hatha Yoga and Pilates to create a flow that allows you strengthen and tone your entire body.

In this class, we combine pilates and yoga for a total body workout focused on toning the glutes, thighs and stomach. This low-impact workout will increase your fitness level. Develop your core strength and stabilization through pilates poses, and improve your flexibility, muscular strength, posture and alignment through yoga poses, breathing and relaxation.

Each instructor creates his or her own class rhythm. A typical class includes poses from both yoga and pilates including standing poses, twists, core work, balancing poses, forward bends, backbends, inversions and restorative poses. All postures combine flexibility, strength and balance to work the entire body. This class lets your body be your guide. No single pose is required and modifications are available for every pose letting you determine when you're more flexible or ready for more challenging poses.
